The Deal with Danny Brown

May 11, 2020

Long before Ray launched Huntington Estate Properties ( https://www.huntingtonestateproperties.com/) and built 20,000 square foot architectural estates with cannabis Lounges and in-door basketball courts, Ray was a young high school kid selling mobile phone activation contracts. After a few years of hustling his way to  become the top Salesman at the company,  Ray started his own mobile operation and opened a tiny office.  He hit the ground running and in a few years he scaled his mobile activation company into 140 sales reps selling activation contracts nationwide and becoming one of the most successful independent mobile phone activation companies in the industry.   Sprint PCS took notice and acquired the company which set Ray up with the seed money and confidence to launch his next venture in real estate development.

Ray’s first development project came about when he purchased a handful of chicken ranches in the Inland Empire and developed them into track home subdivisions.  By the time he completed building his first subdivision the 2008 housing crisis hit hard and Ray was forced to negotiate with banks take his lumps.  The experience and skill set he gained during this time was invaluable and after a few years of grinding he was able to turn the subdivision projects around and make a solid profit.   From here Ray started buying tear downs in the valley and the westside on small lots and developed one off family homes. This slowly evolved into bigger and more lucrative homes in Brentwood, the Palisades and Bel-Air.

Today Ray designs and builds cutting edge modern hill side homes with spectacular views and all the amenities and gadgets you can dream of.  Over the past 12 years he’s built over 100 homes including many to high profile professional athletes, celebrities and ultra-high net worth buyers.  In this conversation, Ray discusses his immigrant roots, his vision, his grit and determination to succeed and the challenges he’s facing developing high end homes in a time of economic uncertainty.  @ramtin_ray_nosrati
